Ok, time to put an end to this

May 5, 2011

I can’t take the vertigo anymore. It’s interferring with everything, I’m sick of falling. I finally found my guts and called the neurologist’s office to have my file sent over to Dr. Fabulous. I was expecting the receptionist to answer the phone, not the actual doctor (eek, was a little intimidating asking him to send my file to a different doctor). Apparently he wasn’t in the office but said he would go there and fax my file over. Then called my GP to set up an appointment to see if there is something that can be done about the vertigo. I’m seeing her on the 10th (so she should have my file from the neuro by then, maybe she’ll share with me what he’s written). I’m really hoping there is something that can be done about the vertigo. I’ll deal with the pain, the muscle contractions, the pins and needles, the numbess, everything else on my own, just make the room stop spinning. I’ll adapt, I’ll find a way to handle the rest of it, but there is absolutely nothing I can do about the vertigo on my own. I had having to admit that I can’t take care of something on my own…
